ONPA was established to achieve the following :

• Promote and raise the profile of neighbourhood and community planning in Oxfordshire and nationally

• Share best practice amongst NP groups in Oxfordshire

• Monitor and, where necessary, help improve the effectiveness of adopted NPs in Oxfordshire (see the Survey in our Members area of the Forum

• Ensure that NPs are properly represented at all levels of planning

• Promote and improve the social, economic, health and environmental well-being of the County through our NP work including climate change and healthy places

• Work with local authorities and other relevant bodies to further the above aims

• Keep in regular touch with our members!
